Women Engineers from BWXT provided STEM activities for the girls of Monelison to promote women in engineering. The girls built bridges out of toothpicks and gumdrops that had to hold up to 300 grams of weight. They also made their own lava lamps and played a game to try and write as many STEM words as possible. Through all of this, they learned a lot about teamwork and perseverance. We are very grateful to BWXT for providing this enrichment for our future Engineers.
