Mr. Ryan White

Mr. White attended college at Radford University where earned his Bachelor’s degree in Social Science in 2005. He later attended Lynchburg College (now University of Lynchburg) where he earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership in 2014. Mr. White began his teaching career at Sandusky Middle School in 2008 where he taught U.S. History and was later promoted to History Department Head and was on the school leadership team. While at Sandusky Middle, Mr. White coached girls’ basketball and was on several committees such as PBIS Team, Incentive Team Faculty Advisory and School Safety. In 2014 Mr. White continued his teaching career by moving to E. C. Glass High School as a US History and Government teacher. He served as Assistant Varsity Girls Basketball coach and was part of the PBIS Team, Senior Advisory Committee and Athletic Designee. In 2015, Mr. White was promoted to Assistant Principal of Linkhorne Middle School. While at Linkhorne Middle School Mr. White oversaw the Special Education Department, Social Studies, Math and English Departments. He oversaw the coaches and athletic events as well as the custodial staff. He was responsible for discipline protocol and worked alongside the PTO to accomplish the vision and mission of the school. Ryan joined the team in Amherst as an assistant principal at Amherst County High School in 2019. We are excited to have Mr. White continue his leadership in Amherst County as the principal of Monelison Middle School.
